Overview

In view of the recovery in the Pakistani capital market, improvement in macro outlook and attractive valuations of equities, it is the right time to educate potential investors about the improving investment climate and opportunities in our capital market. In this context, Central Depository Company (CDC) and National Investment Trust (NIT) are jointly hosting a Road Show on Investments in the Pakistani Capital Market in Lahore on October 17, 2009.

CDC has conducted similar road shows earlier in Sialkot, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Quetta, Multan, Sukkur, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala. The rationale of these events is to apprise the potential investors about the prevailing risks and opportunities and subsequently attract savings in the Capital Market.

Starting afresh from Lahore, CDC plans to continue this drive on a long term basis.
