He is an active member of many international organizations related to information security. Currently he is working with FIA and National Response Center for Cyber Crimes (NR3C) as Project Director.

Mr. Sabah uz Zaman is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of State Bank of Pakistan. He is an expert on IT Management and IT Strategy. With a business and finance acumen, Mr. Zaman has got experience of over 23 years in information technology and has served Shell’s IT Management function for 19 years before joining the State Bank of Pakistan in 2005. In addition to bridging the gap between Business and Technology for swift transition and best utilization of IT systems, responding to technological advancements and establishing a culture of harvesting benefits from IT investments, he established IT Security function at State Bank of Pakistan.
 
Mr. Zaman recognizes and responds to the emerging IT Security and IT Strategic challenges and regularly shares his knowledge with financial industry and other SBP stakeholders.
