Azim Jamal - The Corporate Sufi

Azim Jamal was born in Tanzania and educated in Kenya, UK and
Canada. Over 1,000,000 people have heard his uplifting message across the world including the U.S., Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa – His group of audiences ranges from 50 to 10,000. Susan Macalulay, Managing Director, Strike Communications

Dr Olga Kampaxi- (PhD Psychology)

Dr. Olga Kampaxi holds a PhD in Psychology from Bristol University, UK. As an Assistant Professor at The Emirates Academy she lectures on Business Ethics, HRM and organizational Behaviour as well as well as facilitating knowledge in areas such as Corporate Responsibility, Human Resource Management and other related sub-areas.
New programs include Employer Branding, Cultural Intelligence & Awareness.

She was recently recognized with an award for her contribution to the Future Leaders Program organized by the Dubai Ethics Resource Center and has reviewed the Codes of Ethics in Tourism book authored by Fennell and Malloy. She also contributes to the internal Jumeirah newsletter with a section on Management Tips.

Olga has worked in the United Kingdom as a lecturer for Bristol University, Bath Spa College of Higher Education and Worcester College of HE, as well as in Greece for various British institutions based in Athens on a part-time basis. She worked for the Hellenic American University as the Dean of Student Affairs but at the same time doing HR consultancy projects as well as delivering professional training courses.

She held the position of Researcher for the E-Commerce department in a direct marketing company based in the Bristol, UK where later on she moved to Airbus UK where she was employed as a Project coordinator for Intranet and other enterprise communications projects. In 2000, she returned to Greece to work as an HR Manager for an IT company, UniSystems.

Olga has also facilitated two re-engineering projects, worked for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games as a Regional Staffing Manager and some of the companies she has worked with as a consultant and/ or trainer on a variety of subjects including Coaching and Team Integration include Siemens, Motor Oil, Swissport Hellas, Medecins Sans Frontieres and others.

Dr. Sunil Gupta

Dr. Sunil Gupta, the Creative Guru, attained his early education at the University of Bombay. He then worked for his Post Masters Research and Advanced Training at the University of New York, where he completed his Ph.D. in Management.

Thomas holds a Masters in National Economics from the University of Basel and has completed his MBA from IMD Lausanne, Switzerland.

Thomas is a managing partner at the Basal Consulting group for the past 15 years, has a successful career behind him. Thomas started his career at Knight Wendling AG as a consultant in production planning systems and then in Ex Libris AG as an organizer and management assistant. He then moved to Jemoli SA as manager of the division living dishes, interior; CHF 200m turnover. Here he was member of the board of management, new segmentation and readjustment of the whole assortment according to different client market segments.

Over his 15 year tenure at Basel Consulting Group, Thomas has led the company’s expansion to the Middle East and has actively worked in building up the company and its client base. David is one of Europe's leading experts in financial management processes, management information systems and business performance management, particularly as applied to the corporate centre. ommar shammaAlan Fell
has a total of more than 40 years business experience, mainly at management levels, split between 31 years with a major UK bank and the last 12 years as an internationally focused management consultant and trainer. In his most recent operational management role, he was Head of Planning and Finance for a major division of the bank with 3,000 staff and an annual turnover in excess of US$1bn.

For the last 30 years, Alan has been a highly experienced specialist and practitioner in Corporate Performance Management covering a wide range of financially focused performance management disciplines – both in policy formulation and practical application roles.

In one of his later management roles, he was directly responsible to the CEO of a 100,000 staff organization for coordinating a worldwide Cost Management program – the outcome being a downsizing of 18,000 roles over a two and a half-year period, without any significant business disposals.

He is a highly experienced conference and seminar leader, having facilitated well over 100 events in the last 12 years across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East, South Africa and the USA. He is a regular visitor to Asia, and has frequently presented at conferences and seminars with Asia Business Forum.
